Abraham J. Platt
Abraham J. Platt was awarded a Bachelor of Arts Degree, summa cum laude, from the State University of New York College at Buffalo in 2004. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University at Buffalo Law School, graduating cum laude in 2008. Mr. Platt was admitted to the New York State Bar in February, 2009.
Mr. Platt engages in general practice, while focusing in the areas of Criminal Defense, Family and Municipal Law. He also serves as Town Prosecutor for the Town of Hartland, and has been appointed as an Attorney for the Child (Law Guardian) within the Appellate Division, Fourth Department.
Mr. Platt was the recipient of an Arthur A. Schomburg Fellowship from the University at Buffalo Law School, and while there, he interned as a law clerk under Supreme Court Justice Richard C. Kloch, Jr. At the SUNY College at Buffalo, Mr. Platt was both a Ross B. Kenzie Presidential Scholar and an Anna K. Burrell Minority Scholar, and received the Sigma Phi Epsilon “Balanced Man Award” for his athletic and academic achievements as well as his community service experience.
Mr. Platt is a member of the New York State, Niagara County and Erie County Bar Associations.
